The Windsor-Essex Community Foundation`s ultimate mission is to

“Build a better Windsor-Essex community by:

·         Attracting and managing legacy funds,

·         Making grants to support community programs,

·         And bringing community partners together.”

In order to achieve this mission, the Windsor-Essex Community Foundation performs three kinds of granting programs, Community Impact Grants, Fast Track Grants and KidStart Mini-Grants, two of which may benefit the Fine-Tuning of Ford City.

Community Impact Grants

Community Impact Grants provide up to $15,000.00 in funding for projects or programs which forge partnerships, tackle important issues, and those that will make a lasting impact on the Windsor and Essex Community.

Fast-Track Grants

Fast-Track Grants provide up to $1,000 in funding. Applicants for this grant are those that require funds quickly to either cover unexpected expenses that are preventing operations, such as a leaking roof, or have an opportunity with limited notice, such as hosting a dignitary for an announcement.
